Hooray, finally it's that time again. In the April issue of the German Playboy you can find a picture spread that I produced. It was a particularly nice experience for me, because I had two great models in front of the camera at the same time.
In Germany, photo calendars for craft businesses and workshops have a long tradition. It used to be good manners to give calendars to your customers. I myself have photographed individual calendars for various industrial companies. This tradition seems to be coming to an end.
Job interviews are tedious. You always have to fear rejection. Who doesn't know this? And especially as a model, you know that you get rejected in about 90% of all job applications. On average, I probably even turn down 95 out of 100 applicants. But how can you deal with rejection?

This is once again a very personal article. I ask myself the question where I would like to live in the future. To this day I live exactly 25 years in Frankfurt. I have not lived longer in any other place. Yet Frankfurt is actually not a good city for a photographer.
When it comes to wet hair, opinions differ. For some, the look reminds them of greasy and unwashed hair, while others — like me — celebrate the look. It has to match the hairstyle and hair texture, of course. But when it does, I totally go for it.
