In Macau, the Czech Republic, Malta, Finland, Hong Kong, Hungary, and Slovakia, each country has welcomed one copy of my book into its new home. Seven countries that, at first glance, may not have much in common — except that they now each own a copy of my photo book.
By the way, Macau was a bit of a challenge. The street names there are so long that the DHL forms weren't quite ready for them. But with the help of my valued collector, who now owns all three of my photo books, we managed to get it done, and I was very relieved when his copy was finally delivered.
Then we have a few countries that had to double down (apparently, they love my book so much that one copy wasn't enough!): Australia, Denmark, Greece, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden.
Canada, Spain, and Luxembourg couldn't resist either, grabbing three copies each. Italy was even more generous — five books found their way onto shelves there.
But now, let's move on to the heavyweights.
In the United Kingdom, 15 art lovers have already secured my book. Belgium stands strong with 18 copies, and France — the land of gourmets — has claimed 19 copies. Switzerland, known for precision and good taste, follows with 21 books.
Austria, which I'm also very fond of, snapped up 23 copies.
But here's the big one — the USA has received a whopping 32 of my books! DHL is already popping champagne corks because with over 1,500 € in shipping revenue from my little packages, it's been quite profitable for them.
And surprisingly, it's not a German-speaking country, but the Netherlands that took second place. The Dutch have shown their love for art with 36 copies. Hartelijk dank!
Not surprisingly, most of the books (around 600 copies) are now gracing coffee tables across Germany. I personally packed and sent each book to the post office.
