A tribute to Initial D

Initial D is a Japanese street racing manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. At the moment I am working on the concept of my next photo book which circles around cars. Therefore I am sucking up everything inspiring about cars.

I came across the work of Da Dou, a 3D artist from China. His work totally blew my mind. Inspired by the manga series Initial D he crated 3D scenes and animated those in Cinema 4D. As I know how much work is involved in such a project, I can only express my biggest compliments to this achievement. Awesome piece of work.
