The woke era has passed me by like a high-speed train through a sleepy provincial station. And here I still stand, offering a product that doesn't quite fit the zeitgeist anymore. But you know what? There are still enough of us who love nostalgia, who love women, who love beauty, and who celebrate a photo calendar full of nudes with a wink. Even if that's not really acceptable anymore. With me, it still is.
How easy it would have been to pull twelve motifs and a cover from the archive. But that wouldn't meet my standards. I want to surprise you and, above all, show new models, new faces and yes, new bodies too. Also a sign of diversity, I think, even if perhaps not the kind that's politically demanded today.
The cover features the beautiful Lolita. That's her real name — and isn't she enchanting? In almost 20 years of photography, I've never had a model in front of my lens with such a firm, athletically trained behind. What could be more fitting than having her quickly drop her clothes in the gym? This motif appears in March.
The story behind this photo is typical of my working method: I waited until we were completely alone in the studio. While other hotel guests were sipping cocktails by the pool, I asked Lolita to quickly undress. What fun! I've always wanted to take a photo like this.
I've also managed a nice mix of hair colors and styles again. And, especially for you, I sought out many busty women. Not so easy! The voluptuous beginning comes right in January, while in February I switch to France for the first time. To a private apartment (note to self: must do this more often!), visiting a cheeky girl. You know: the good girls go to heaven. The bad girls go everywhere.
We already mentioned March with Lolita. In April, we're at the seaside for the first time. With the charming Kira, a Twitch star. From her, I learned that nowadays you can earn money by filming yourself cooking and streaming it live on the internet. But perhaps that only works if you look as sexy as she does.
I love first times. First times always have that certain magic. And that's how it was when I climbed over the wall into the banana plantation to photograph the May motif. I felt like a teenager in forbidden territory again — only with a professional camera and a model who waited patiently while I fought my way through the plants. But the result was worth every spider web in my face (yuck!).
You probably already know Nici and Nastya from June and July from previous years. With different motifs, of course. I enjoy working with models I already know — it immediately creates a familiar atmosphere that gives the pictures a special intimacy.
And because a car motif should never be missing, this time there's Avery's bright yellow VW Beetle in August. She drove it to me from Portugal. The first time a model brought her own automobile as a location.
Playmate Angelique was enchanting and so Playboy-crazy that she had a bunny tattooed in her intimate area. I could make a joke about bunnies and stinging now, but I'd better not. Her passion for the brand was impressive, in any case.
Margot seduces you in October among the arcade machines and retro pinball tables. The arcade lights reflect on her skin, another nostalgic photo with a wink.
With Effy, we're back at the beach in November. And we find the crowning conclusion with Anastasia, who has such incredibly beautiful freckles. I've never seen anything like it before. Don't tell me you were looking somewhere else!
As always: The edition is limited to 200 copies. First come, first served. I don't want to create pressure or advertise. I'm simply happy to have such a great regular audience that buys my calendar year after year and beautifies the bare walls at home with it.
Perhaps this calendar is an anachronism in our digital world. Perhaps it's not politically correct. But it's honest, made with love, and shows the beauty of women in their most natural form. And a little rebellion against the zeitgeist can't hurt, can it?
P.S. I can't say how quickly the calendar will sell out. However, as I will be producing abroad in November and December, I advise not waiting too long to order. Those who know me know: When I say "limited edition", I really mean it.
