Do you remember vinyl records? How we used to spread different album covers across the carpet and listen to music consciously — really consciously? Each album was an investment, a decision. You owned it, smelled the cardboard, studied the lyrics in the booklet, discovered details in the artwork. It connected us to the band, was like a secret contact to the artist.
I've captured that feeling and rearranged it especially for you.
And since I'm not a musician but a photographer, I've composed love letters in photo series.
Love Letter is the sensual little sister of the Love Box. Exactly twelve hand-selected nudes in 14x20cm format (with 0.5cm white border). Printed on Fuji Color Silk, a silk-textured paper with a weight of 235g/m².
The small collection comes charmingly packaged in a special kraft paper envelope: bound with Japanese binding using string. The unpacking alone is a moment of deceleration and a subtle nod to the quality and uniqueness of the contents. A bow to craftsmanship and art.
Sometimes I think we've forgotten what it means to truly own something. Not digitally, not in the cloud, but something tangible. My Love Letters are my little rebellion against this transience.
