The inquiries that land in my inbox couldn't be more different from one another. One man writes to tell me his partner is simply the most beautiful woman he knows, and that she loves nothing more than being in front of a camera. A few days later, an OnlyFans model gets in touch, looking for new content for her profile, something professional that doesn't scream "shot on a phone." And then there's the young woman from southern Germany who's been thinking about applying to Playboy for a while now but hasn't worked up the nerve.
That mix is exactly what I love about this job. No two shoots are alike, even though the basic ingredients never change: good light, an island that looks like it belongs to another planet, and one hour where you finally just go for it.
Fuerteventura in November offers a comfortable seventy-three to seventy-five degrees and light that stays pleasantly bright. After a German November, that alone feels like a small miracle. I can't promise the wind will cooperate. What I can offer is experience from dozens of shoots on the island: I know the spots that stay calm even when the wind doesn't, and I have enough backup plans for when Plan A falls apart anyway.
